CENTERING MACHINES
Technologies and solutions for end machining
The centering/facing machine is a machine that was created to perform the center and the facing on both ends of a mechanical piece at the same time. With development and evolution, today these machines are able to perform milling, drilling, chamfering, collar, centering and tapping operations on forged and stamped shafts and bars, always simultaneously on both ends of the piece to be worked.
This allows to increase the working precision (drastically decreasing the next processing times on the lathe), to work the pieces very quickly (normally a Centeing machine is able to “serve” at least 2 lathes) and to significantly reduce the times of change of processing: it is possible to switch from one working process to another in about 60.
The FANUC control systems that enrich all our models today, strongly encourage their use within production islands capable of working without supervision for several daily shifts.
In addition, the perfectly machined piece by our machine can be subsequently worked on the lathe at significantly higher speeds.
speed of execution, high precision, ease of use, ductility and reduction of cycle times on the lathe
TECHNICAL DATA
the technical data sheets in this section show all the characteristics and specifications of the IVAXIA machines
CF Series
Our models for tubes, pipes, hydraulic cylinders and roller conveyors elements
MM Series
Universal models for working pieces with huge diameters (diam. 30-300 mm)
MF Series
Universal models for working pieces with average diameters (diam. 20-180 mm)
MG Series
Our model dedicated to pieces having small dimensions (Ø max. 80mm and length max. 600 mm)
FLEX Series
A model for offering the working maximum flexibility using standard tools only for pieces with averages diameters
FLEX-Y Series
Having all good features of previous FLEX Series but with each working head endowed with an additional “Y” axis allowing off-axis drillings (max. +/- 125 mm)
OMNI Series
Also equipped with the "Y" axis, it is a model designed to solve any production problem on the ends of large pieces with a diameter of up to 400 mm
